You are invited! The Peel Community Benefits Network is proud to host its Second Annual In-Person Forum.

The PCBN Second Annual Forum brings together community organizations, labour and construction unions, social enterprises and local businesses, government, and other stakeholders invested in building a thriving and inclusive Peel Region, beginning with equitable, inclusive, and meaningful employment opportunities in the Skilled Trades through Community Benefits.

Join us on May 25th 2023 at Sheridan College in Brampton to identify ways in which we can strengthen our network’s collaboration and identify opportunities to build sustainable employment in the Skilled Trades.

The Forum is anchored on three (3) key goals:

  • Promote supportive, sustainable, and inclusive employment in the Skilled Trades
  • Provide opportunities for collaboration and collective action in Peel Region
  • Enable sector-wide networking

Hear from changemakers in the Skilled Trades and from Community Benefits champions across a wide range of industries and sectors, including:

  • Community organizations
  • Construction unions, training centres, tradespersons, and apprentices
  • Employment service providers
  • Construction employers
  • Government, and more

Learn about PCBN’s work in promoting Community Benefits as a tool for creating jobs in essential, in-demand industries such as construction, supporting social enterprises and social procurement, and building a Peel Region for all, particularly equity-deserving groups. Through the Forum, PCBN invites your organization to be part of our work and join in our shared advocacy to empower women, youth, racialized minorities, newcomers to Canada and other equity-deserving populations with vital employment, economic, and overall quality of life opportunities.
